12 days til Run Day

Here are a few tips and tricks:

Money is to be deposited at the CIBC before you come to Team shirt pick up

Team shirt pick up is at Riverview Ford, various times, check out cbcf.org, run location Fredericton for details

Arrange a team meeting place, there are 2400 people in the same shirt wandering around, you need a meeting place and time :)

There are ample port- a- potties behind the stage area

There is no admittance to the inside of Old Government House - unless it's the registration area.

There are no storage lockers.

There will be FREE water, juice, and bagels for participants

Bring some cash - last chance to purchase CIBC merchandise - socks, dog leashes, etc
Last chance to get an anniversary ball hat and key chain or raffle tickets on the guitar

FREE team photos on the front steps of Old Government House

Team members who are Breast Cancer survivors should visit the Pink Tent to get their pink survivor shirt as well as put their name in for a prize draw.

Team Registration Night
When - September 19th 4pm to 6pm
Where - Riverview Ford
What is this all about?
If you are a returning team captain then you know that in previous years we did it all via email, this year we are trying on something new. This format works in other sites and is actually the official format. In previous years emails went missing and teams were missed.
Please bring your team summary sheet to Riverview Ford with your team members sizes on it
The team summary sheet will be used to send the information to Valley Graphics for shirt printing.
Again, same rules as last year:
You must have 10 team members
Your team name can only have 26 characters
Shirt sizes are M, XL and XXL
Please include only Qualified team members. Those individuals who have paid the $40 registration fee or those who are fairly close to raising at least $150 in donations.
It does not have to be the team captain who drops off the form, a team rep can be sent.
Shout out to all my teams from Boiestown, Harvey, Stanley, Minto etc. You can just send us an email.
Questions, drop us a note at teams_fredericton@cbcfrun.org

Tips for Making Bank Deposits

It's never to early to start making deposits! Here are some tips to make your trip to the bank easier:
You can make two separate deposits with each donation sheet. There are two squares for the bank to stamp it. It is the number written in pen inside the bank stamp that counts.
Have your bills and coins organized - all facing the same way and sorted - the way banks like them.
You can make deposits for team members, or you can have team members make their own deposits.
If you have a large deposit, with multiple sheets, add up all the bills and coins and get a total and then add up the donation sheets and make sure you have the same total.
If you have a large deposit - try not to go to the bank at lunch time :) You can make deposits at any CIBC branch - 448 Queen, Smythe Street (near Burger King), or Nashwaaksis Place.
If you don't want to make a trip to the bank you can Charge all Donations to your Credit Card. See the bottom of the donation form. You can take the money you have raised and apply it to your credit card. In October, once National has received the forms, they will charge an amount to your credit card.
The Credit Card option doesn't work if you have received Cheques payable to the Foundation. Make sure your cheques are payable to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, this is written on the bottom of the donation sheet. Verify that the person signed and dated the cheque.

...Plan Ahead !! Be patient. The Run for the Cure Committee knows how much time, effort, training and planning the CIBC puts into this event every year. We appreciate how many donation forms the Tellers process each year and we are extremely grateful. We also appreciate the time and efforts contributed by the Team Captains! With a little organization, and patience, things will go smoothly.

See you on Run Day!!
